What is worth learning?      Curriculum is the foundation to every students education. There are many different types of curriculum and ways to teach it. However, if the curriculum in our schools are important to our students and the foundation of what they will be learning, why are our students' curriculums becoming limited. By not presenting our student with all the information we are continuing harm students and create unwelcoming environments in our classrooms when subjects that are influential to our students.       During the module we had to create a blackout poem from an excerpt  in the article "Ending Curriculum Violence" by Stephanie P. What does Money Really Have to Do With It?

 What does money really have to do with it?      This is a big question to tackle when talking about our educational systems within the country. Money unfortunately, has a big influence on a school districts ability to provide adequate education for their students. I have seen both sides of funding within school districts. My elementary school had very little funding for students within our school district.  This had and impact on not only the students, but on the teachers as well. In most situations, teachers have to pay for the majority of the supplies and resources within ones classroom. On the other hand, I was fortunate enough to attend a high school that had a sufficient amount of funding. This schools had the newest textbooks, computers, equipment, and materials for their classrooms.
