Impact of Empathy of Others

Impact of Empathy on Others         Empathy plays such a big part in the way that we can connect with others. I believe that this is one of the most important ways to let the people around you know that you are listening, understand them, and care about what they are saying and experiencing. Most of the time, myself included, we don’t always think about how our actions may impact those around us. This can affect the way that others may perceive us. I have done this, as well as experienced other people doing this to me. Even if someone doesn’t know or realize what they have done, it can still impact others.      My freshman year of high school my father passed away, of course this isn’t the average exchange with friends. Why Teach?          Hey everyone! My name is Chandler Serra. I am currently a sophomore at Texas State University, majoring in elementary education. Ever sine I was little I always enjoyed spending time with other kids and looked up to the teachers I had growing up. My teachers helped me to love learning, and helped me get my passion for wanting to teach and help future students who were like myself. Being able to be someone my students look up to is something that I can’t wait to do. I believe that students, especially ones who are just starting out their educational careers are so impressionable and eager to learn. I am so incredibly excited to be able to teach and help change my future students lives whether the change be small or big.
